Nestled between two harbors, this cozy isthmus cottage is the perfect retreat to catch up on writing, share a romantic vacation, or run away from the city for a few days of convenient quiet. Just a 20-minute ferry ride from Seattle, Vashon Island is an artistic haven, and from this scenic cottage, it is easy to see where the locals get their influence. Nature abounds this little pocket as seals pop out of the water, herons, osprey, and eagles soar overhead, and bucks grazing the lawn.

OUR RESPONSE TO COVID-19: Our cabin will be rented through August 31st, 2002 to prevent too much moving in and out. We have employed a rigorous cleaning schedule and a longer delay between vacationers, where we open all the windows in addition to sanitizing to allow the cabin to "breathe". ​

Maury Island Marine Park sits only 3.4 miles from the cabin where you can stroll the sandy shores and enjoy views of the Cascade Mountains. Tour the picturesque Point Robinson Lighthouse, sip and relax at the Palouse Winery, or take a day trip into Seattle to explore iconic spots like Pike Place Market. End the day dining al fresco on the patio and taking in the waterfront views!

Hi, my name is Rachel and I’m an Interior Architectural Designer operating locally on Vashon Island. I moved to glorious Vashon Island five years ago with my husband, Sean and our two young boys. We live in a sweet 1913 home right by the cabin, meaning we are quick to respond and ensure our guest's comfort!
